Unseen
I am Victoria Toro, and I created Unseen out of my own journey living with Crohn’s disease, GERD, ulcers, anxiety, and the constant weight of stress. For years, I felt the disconnect between how I looked on the outside and the struggles I carried inside. These challenges are often unseen, but that doesn’t make them any less real.
Unseen was born to shine a light on, and to give a voice to those living with chronic illnesses and mental health challenges — the ones often overlooked or misunderstood. Our name carries the reminder that what we go through may be hidden, but it is not imaginary. Through comfortable, thoughtful clothing, I want to spread awareness where ever it is worn!
Invisible, not imaginary.
It took so long for people to understand what I was going through. People either thought I was lying, or people would look down on my issues. The biggest thing that hurt me was never getting answers and people refusing to care. Now I strive to create and do more.
My issues started at a young age, but I started to notice them in 2021. While still dealing with my issues, I strive to help others and I power those to seek help!
At 23 years old, I want to help everyone I can and do more than just s clothing brand. It’s a community you can count on.
